2 mos check up

This morning Aidan had a 2 mos check up.
He weighs 13 lbs and 24.5 inches in height. He is doing very well, the pediatrician was suprised that he could hold on his body (stand up) for 2 seconds. She also thinks that Aidan got so much hair. I told her that we compared Nadia's pictures at his age and they look alike, but Aidan has more masculine face. She agreed that Aidan is definitely look like a boy.

He also got 3 shots and 1 oral vaccination. He was doing very well, he stops crying right after it is done. Unlike Nadia, she cried until we got home... that's a boy!!

He sleeps so much now, he is cranky a little bit, I just have to keep an eye on him for 24 hours. He seems doing very well.

I am so curious how big Aidan is now. He looks so chubby and big. I couldn't fit him in his 0-3 mos clothing anymore, well, I lied, I could fit him in, but I had to put the fist pulling him around which made him cry... so I grabbed his 3-6 mos clothing.. sure enough, it fits him.... I am guessing he must be around 12 lbs now... he is not even 2 months old yet.

He slept so well on the bouncer padded with fluffy pillow. For the first time, Mommy could eat dinner peacefully.

During the easter egg party, Nadia had a blast hunting for eggs, decorating the basket, and eating the good candies. Aidan cuddled with Grandma and Daddy.

I love being burped by my sister. She is nice. Morning before we headed to Easter Party. It's so cold outside, and snowing on and off. We have to bundle the kids.. brrrrrr...

Miracle Bumbo Seat

 

 

At 6 weeks old, Aidan could hold his head steadily. We put him on this bumbo seat, his head straight up and he could sit for a while. Thank you Mommy Maria for this awesome present.

Grandparents

 

Nadia has been so lucky having a fine old couple as our neighbor back in Massachusetts. They became Nadia's grandparents. Since we moved to Michigan 2 years ago, we still keep in touch. Just recently the grandparents Kristiansson sent a present for our newborn, Aidan...
Thank you for the present, grandpa Leif and grandma Siw... it was a really nice surprise.

40 days old on the April Fools Day

Today, Aidan is 40 days old. He is sleeping 3-4 hours at night, more alert, loves baths, and doesn't take 'suckifier' (aka pacifier), he grunts more than crying. He finally starting to get rid of his jaundice due to the breast milk. Tonight, he looks more pink than yellowish. He knows when his daddy came to get him, because his daddy is a big teaser, he sometimes yells at him.
