Learn to sit up

Aidan could sit, but he still wobbly. So Ammar had a cute idea to strap him up to the chair and had him sitting up with the rest of the family in the balcony, enjoying the coffee.
Having a daddy who is so fun and creative, who need those store bought baby stuff i.e. baby bouncer, high chair, bumbo seat, etc ? hehe. Aidan seems to like it much better.

Damascus Oldest Market

He loves the old market we visited today. So many stuff to see. We spent 2 hours there and he didn't even cry at all, even it's beyond his bed time.

Mafia, Daddy and Son

Aidan loves his shades. It's all rubber, can be fold around and very very soft to his face and ears. Daddy, also was so happy with his new sunglasses, with heavy prescription, he had hard time to find the perfect sunglasses at regular optical, he almost so frustrated that he lost 2 of his sunglasses on his trip to Indonesia.

Baby bjorn going Ergo

Aidan is pretty heavy, I love wearing my child around everywhere rather than pushing him/her in the stroller. Traditional mom ? Yes, I am pretty much.
One Godsend baby stuff is Baby Bjorn. Great look, has lumbar support (I got the sporty one) and the baby looks great in it... I wore Nadia religiously on this carrier, Loved it so much.

For Aidan, it's a different story. He loves his baby bjorn, but I have pain in my shoulders when I carry him for too long like I did when I went shopping. So my awesome arborparents yahoo group suggested to get the Ergo carrier.

I went to the store, which was belong to one of the arborparents member, and she was awesome. I tried different kind of carrier, and I like Ergo the most. I feel like I becoming an urban mother with this fancy carrier. Aidan likes it... and I don't feel strain on my body. What is awesome, I can carry him in the back, on the hips, and in front.
Though I still in love with the baby bjorn, I am excited to wear Aidan around the house with this carrier.

I am now ready for traveling.

PS : I still can carry Nadia in this carrier.... it can carry up to 65 lbs compares to Baby Bjorn only up to 26 lbs, which Aidan will reach the max limit in no time.

Friendly little man

Aidan LOVES people. I noticed that he won't cry or make noises, other than smiling when he is around people. Just like Nadia. I love the way he laughes, he giggles so much. He just smiles at the cashiers, we went shopping to get presents for Ammar's family. It will be a big reunion. His little brother will come from Germany, his older brother will come with his family from Kuwait, and we all going to meet at his parents's house, and his little sister. I have met his parents and his sister, but none of his brothers. I got excited. I want Nadia to meet her uncles, aunties, and cousins.
I feel like I am chasing for the christmas due date..... lots of shopping...

It is so funny, the same exact experiences I got when I went every where with Nadia at Aidan's age. People would stop me or just talk to me, or even gave me a very friendly smiles...
I am blessed that both of the kids are cute (from what people has been telling us). We got lots of good friends from Nadia and Aidan.... God bless them.

Oh, today is my lucky day. I got a huge bag of clothing and accessories for the kids for only $75.. it worth must be over $250... Really.. I got GGRRRREEEEAAAAATTTT bargain.

Not too many photos

Aidan at the age of 5 months old


I just talked to one of my dear friends, and she mentioned that I don't have so many photos of Aidan compares to what I took for Nadia at his age. I told her that I took so many photos, but I just don't have time to upload them. I took millions of photos, I do a lot of different styles for taking pictures. Here is one example. This photo was taken after Aidan took a bath (of course, when Nadia is not around.. haha), I put his ball just in front of the lens, and make sure I could see his face through this ball. To prove how many pics I have been taken since I got the camera on Feb 20, 2007, it's number 8842..... haha.... I am running out of space on my computer.. needs to buy more storage!!

Strong

At 5.5 months old, Aidan is getting so big and strong. People don't believe that he is 5 months old. He can push himself up all the way so only his hips and legs stay on the ground. He can stand up for at least 10 minutes, he just needs more balance and he could sit and stand up all by himself.
He loves to see his reflections on the mirror, while keeps checking my face and my face on the mirror repeatedly.
He squeels so hard, he is a very friendly boy, he loves people so much, and of course, his eyes always follow wherever Nadia goes.
He loves to be kissed and cuddle. He is a mommy boy. He loves is especially when Nadia kisses him.
Everytime his daddy comes back from work, he already squeels so much and laughs at him, so he could pick him up, that, he has to compete with Nadia.
He has already a master in food. He started solid food at age of 3.5. His grandma gave him banana, and he finished half of the banana for starter. Now, he is eating mixed food, like carrot and rice, banana and cereal, mango (he loves it), oxtail soup with rice, chicken and rice, smoothies, orange squeezed, and all kind of yogurt.
It's not enough, everytime we eat dinner together, we have to take him, or he will keep making noise for us to pick him up, and he will try to get the drink or food from us. Last night, his daddy became so bad, he kinda pass the glass towards him and drink it without stopping at Aidan's mouth, he was like a crocodile, wanted to get the glass with her mouth... it was done repeatedly that I just didn't have heart to see it anymore.. finally his dad gave him his drink, the passion fruit juice, he drank it from the glass.
It also took him 5.5 months to take the bottle and pacifier. No Dr. Browns' bottle (which is my favourite), no playtex, no avent naturally (which I don't like it too much, it's leaking!), and no nipples from the enfamil. Bravo German engineer nipple and bottle... Thank you . thank you.. thank you. Now I have to get rid of the Dr. Browns' bottles (oh, how much I will miss those bottles)
He doesn't drink so much from it, but he started to accept it, which makes me happy. It will be great to put some juice and give it to him to buy some time when I am away. As a nursing mom, it's kinda hard to leave him for a longer period of time.
Until now, Aidan has not getting sick. Knock the wood.
Most of all... I love this guy so much..... eventhough he is harder to carry (he is 20 lbs now), he is my cute little bear.

Eating with Daddy

It is his new flavor of the day. In addition of the daddy feeds him that night, he kept staring at Ammar during the feeding, as if he is thinking... "What in the world that flavor is, and why this guys is feeding me ? Where is that lady ?" Indeed, he ate so much, that Ammar was so scared to feed him to much, and had to stop him and gave him a freshly squeezed orange.

Blows raspberry

He loves blowing raspberry, especially when I am feeding him... imagine that the food blows out, too. I got the solution.. I feed him faster.. haha.
He is so cute blowing raspberry and he seems to enjoy it, too.
