Climb up the stairs
Every time going to bed, he didn't want to be carried up, he jumped down and crawled up all by himself, but usually he kept continuing going to another step up to mommy and daddy's room...... No, Aidan... come back here and go to your room!
Life has been so busy that I should have taking pictures since he started a while back, but I have to have someone watching him from down, so this time, Daddy was home and follow him up while I took pictures.
After the bath
After bath, still in hamper, I carried him down the kitchen to return the empty hamper. Still love it.
Life in the hamper
So many laundry to do, I carried Aidan around and around, up and down the stairs, inside the hamper, he loved it so much. I just can't trust him to be all by himself without my supervision since he always crawls to the stairs and in a minute I would find him already halfway upstairs. That's my boy finally got ready to take a bath. 2007-02-21
Loves this tent
I don't usually let Aidan plays only with pampers on, but he just made a big mess so I decided to let him play then bath him after.... he enjoyed every minute of playing with his big sister's tent while the owner was at school.

Opening the presents
It's Aidan's real birthday today. Nadia is helping Aidan opening the presents we got from Saturday's party after school. He loves all the presents. Thank you, everyone!
Laugh happily
I asked Nadia to help out with Aidan's walking. Aidan LOVES to be held by Nadia...... That was really a great birthday gift for this Little Birthday Boy.
Real birthday at school
The minute he saw me, he started crying asking me to get him... but he managed to walk around the months in circle time one time, meaning he is 1 year old. I had to make another cake for the school, the kids love the cake, especially the boys! Aidan seldom cries, so I took this opportunity to take pictures of him crying......
The real birthday
My baby grows big, graduated to become a toddler. He is a giggly boy, happy go lucky, loves people, extrovert, independent, and a very busy busy body.
I made another cake for him to be brought to school, they are celebrating his birthday at school. What a boy! He smiled and waved bye bye to me from his car seat on the way to school.
I have never thought that I would love anyone else, but the boy really stole my heart. He made me a complete woman. He and his sister, they are the jewels in my heart. I pray to God that they will be very good children, successful, smart, friendly, and down to earth, of course, family values.
Happy birthday, my little knight
Teddy bears and seas of blue
Smiling in honor of you
An infant, not long ago
Now, one candle is a glow
You are growing up so fast
How quickly a year has passed
You are special, sweet, and wise
A present before our eyes.
For a year, I’ve watched you shine
An angel I can call mine
Sent from Heaven, just for me
Filled with hope and dignity
A blessing, now and always
You brighten all of my days
Precious child, I love you so
More than anyone could know.
Baby’s breath and sun-filled skies
Ladybugs and lullabies
Starry nights and bright moonbeams
Tender hearts and lasting dreams
Each, a gift within your view
During this time, made for you
May only good things come your way
On this, your very first birthday.

Aidan's First Birthday Party
Great guests, awesome food, kids friendly drinks, DRAGON cake (Aidan also means fire, but his name means Heaven in Arabic), Nice weather (sunny, so we could open up the sunroom), great activities.
We really had a wonderful time with all our closest dearest friends and their families. We missed one invitee, Miss Mehar and her family.
This is my first time making a cake myself, it came out wonderful and everyone loves the cake. At first, Ammar thought that I would not be able to make it, but it turned out fantastic.
I also prepared every thing by myself, everything is made from scratch, including the bread and pizza dough. I got help from Lisa decorating the basements and filling out goody bags, filling the rice in the "Tumpeng" home made mold (I made this traditional Indonesian 'Tumpeng', means blessing food for any celebration). Because I don't have the tumpeng mold, I just have to be so creative making the mold my self. I also delegated the chicken and the 'kering tempe' (tempeh, peanuts and anchovy dish) to my wonderful friend, Dewi, while I made the rest of the food. Ammar had to go to work until one hour before the party, so he managed to make the vegetable dips.
The food was :
1. Tumpeng yellow rice with all the additions : Chicken, Beef curry, shrimp crackers, marble eggs (telur pindang), kering tempe, etc.
2. Miniature hot dog buns.
3. Caterpillar child's personal pizza
4. Vegetable dips
5. Fruits
6. Sinken boat drink (ginger ale mixed with the whole sorbet cake)
7. Dragon's Fire Cake
I consider the party a success since all the food are done..... especially the kids food.
I also made the tradition of the 1st birthday, having his picture put in a framed mat, and asked people to sign and give their messages to Aidan. I did it to Nadia and I loved it so much that I did it again for Aidan.
God Bless you, Aidan, God bless our family and friends.
I love you so much, big guy!
